Q uando i servi di Absalom andarono in casa della donna e chiesero: «Dove sono Ahimaats e Gionathan?», la donna rispose loro: «Hanno passato il ruscello». Essi allora si misero a cercarli ma non riuscendo a trovarli, tornarono a Gerusalemme.

Then Absalom’s servants came to the woman at the house and said, “Where are Ahimaaz and Jonathan?” The woman answered, “They have crossed the river.” And after looking and not finding them, they returned to Jerusalem.
