A mnon fu preso da tale passione per sua sorella Tamar da cadere malato, perché essa era vergine; e pareva difficile ad Amnon di poterle fare qualcosa.

Amnon was so frustrated because of his sister Tamar that he made himself ill, for she was a virgin, and it seemed hard to Amnon to do anything to her.
