O r quando nel paese d' Egitto e nel paese di Canaan venne a mancare Il denaro, tutti gli Egiziani vennero da Giuseppe e dissero: «Dacci del pane! Perché dovremmo morire sotto i tuoi occhi? Poiché il nostro denaro è finito».

When the money was gone from the lands of Egypt and Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, “Give us food! Why should we die in front of you? For we have no more money.”
