Q uesta è la discendenza di Giacobbe. Giuseppe, all'età di diciassette anni, pascolava il gregge coi suoi fratelli; il giovinetto stava con i figli di Bilhah e con i figli di Zilpah mogli di suo padre. Or Giuseppe riferì al loro padre la mala fama che circolava sul loro conto.

These births of Jacob: Joseph, a son of seventeen years, hath been enjoying himself with his brethren among the flock, (and he a youth,) with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives, and Joseph bringeth in an account of their evil unto their father.
