I o non ti ho mai portato gli animali lacerati dalle fiere; ne ho subita la perdita io stesso; tu reclamavi da me ciò che era stato rubato di giorno o rubato di notte.

I did not bring to you those that were torn by wild animals. I took the loss upon myself. You had me pay for what was carried away during the day or during the night.
