Q uindi Giacobbe diede a Esaú del pane e della zuppa di lenticchie. Ed egli mangiò e bevve; poi si alzò e se ne andò. Così Esaú disprezzò la sa primogenitura.

Then Jacob gave Esau of the bread and of the pottage of lentils; and he ate and drank, and rose up, and went away. Thus Esau despised his birthright.
