S aúl escogió para sí tres mil hombres de Israel, de los cuales dos mil estaban con Saúl en Micmas y en la región montañosa de Betel, y mil estaban con Jonatán en Geba de Benjamín. Y al resto del pueblo lo despidió cada uno a su tienda.

Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.
