E ntonces Booz dijo: El día que compres el campo de manos de Noemí, debes adquirir también a Rut la moabita, viuda del difunto, a fin de conservar el nombre del difunto en su heredad.

Then Boaz said, “The day you buy the field from Naomi, you must take Ruth, the Moabite woman, also. She is the wife of the dead man. You must keep alive the name of the dead man on his land.”
