S e sentaron, pues, los dos y comieron y bebieron juntos; y el padre de la joven dijo al hombre: Te ruego que te dignes pasar la noche, y que se alegre tu corazón.

So both men sat down and ate and drank together, and the girl’s father said to the man, Consent to stay all night and let your heart be merry.
