P ero el hombre no quiso pasar la noche, así que se levantó y partió, y fue hasta un lugar frente a Jebús, es decir, Jerusalén. Y estaban con él un par de asnos aparejados; también con él estaba su concubina.

لَكِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَمْ يَرْضَ أنْ يَبِيتَ لَيلَتَهُ هُناكَ. فَقامَ وَذَهَبَ، وَوَصَلَ إلَى مَكانٍ مُقابِلَ يَبُوسَ – أي مَدِينَةِ القُدْسِ. وَكانَ مَعَهُ حِمارانِ مُسْرَجانِ. وَكانَتْ جارِيَتُهُ أيضاً مَعَهُ.
