c uídate de no caer en una trampa imitándolas, después que hayan sido destruidas delante de ti, y de no buscar sus dioses, diciendo: “¿Cómo servían estas naciones a sus dioses para que yo haga lo mismo?”

take heed to thyself that thou be not ensnared after them, after that they are destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
