Y se encendió la ira del Señor contra Israel, y los hizo vagar en el desierto por cuarenta años, hasta que fue acabada toda la generación de los que habían hecho mal ante los ojos del Señor.

And the Lord 'S anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the Lord, was consumed.
