E ntonces invocaron al Señor, y dijeron: Te rogamos, oh Señor, no permitas que perezcamos ahora por causa de la vida de este hombre, ni pongas sobre nosotros sangre inocente; porque tú, Señor, has hecho como te ha placido.

Wherefore they cried unto the Lord, and said, We beseech thee, O Lord, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O Lord, hast done as it pleased thee.
