P ero este mismo Daniel sobresalía entre los funcionarios y sátrapas porque había en él un espíritu extraordinario, de modo que el rey pensó ponerlo sobre todo el reino.

Now this Daniel surpassed the presidents and the satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to appoint him over the whole realm.
