E ntonces aquellos hombres vinieron de común acuerdo al rey y le dijeron: Reconoce, oh rey, que es ley de los medos y persas que ningún mandato o edicto que el rey establezca, puede ser revocado.

Then these same men came thronging to the king and said, Know, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persians that no decree or statute which the king establishes may be changed or repealed.
