C omo en día de fiesta solemne convocaste mis terrores de todas partes; y no hubo en el día de la ira del Señor quien escapara ni sobreviviera. A los que crié y mantuve, mi enemigo los exterminó.

Thou dost call as a day of appointment, My fears from round about, And there hath not been in the day of the anger of Jehovah, An escaped and remaining one, They whom I stretched out and nourished, My enemy hath consumed!
