M as ellos no escucharon ni inclinaron su oído, sino que anduvieron en sus propias deliberaciones y en la terquedad de su malvado corazón, y fueron hacia atrás y no hacia adelante.

Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but followed the counsels and the dictates of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward.
