E ntonces el rey Sedequías ordenó que pusieran a Jeremías en el patio de la guardia y le dieran una torta de pan al día de la calle de los panaderos, hasta que se acabara todo el pan en la ciudad. Y permaneció Jeremías en el patio de la guardia.

Then Zedekiah the king commanded, and they committed Jeremiah into the court of the guard, and they gave him daily a loaf of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city was spent. And Jeremiah abode in the court of the guard.
