E dificó también torres en el desierto y excavó muchas cisternas, porque tenía mucho ganado, tanto en las tierras bajas como en la llanura. También tenía labradores y viñadores en la región montañosa y en los campos fértiles porque amaba la tierra.

Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry.
