E ntonces el Espíritu de Dios vino sobre Zacarías, hijo del sacerdote Joiada; y él se puso en pie, en un lugar más alto que el pueblo, y les dijo: Así ha dicho Dios: “¿Por qué quebrantáis los mandamientos del Señor y no prosperáis ? Por haber abandonado al Señor, El también os ha abandonado.”

And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest; and he stood up above the people and said unto them, Thus saith God: Wherefore do ye transgress the commandments of Jehovah? And ye cannot prosper; for ye have forsaken Jehovah, and he hath forsaken you.
