S ubió, pues, Sisac, rey de Egipto, contra Jerusalén y tomó los tesoros de la casa del Señor y los tesoros del palacio del rey. De todo se apoderó, tomó hasta los escudos de oro que había hecho Salomón.

So King Shishak of Egypt came and fought against Jerusalem. He took the riches of the Lord’s house and the riches of the king’s house. He took everything. He even took the battle-coverings of gold which Solomon had made.
