D avid le tomó mil carros y siete mil hombres de a caballo y veinte mil soldados de a pie; David desjarretó todos los caballos de los carros, pero dejó suficientes de ellos para cien carros.

And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: David also houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them an hundred chariots.
