E n sus días subió Faraón Necao, rey de Egipto, contra el rey de Asiria junto al río Eufrates. Y el rey Josías fue a su encuentro, pero Faraón Necao lo mató en Meguido en cuanto lo vio.

In his days Pharaohnechoh, king of Egypt, went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates; and King Josiah went against him; but as soon as he saw him, he slew him at Megiddo.
