E ntretanto Adonías, hijo de Haguit, se ensalzaba diciendo: Yo seré rey. Y preparó para sí carros y hombres de a caballo y cincuenta hombres que corrieran delante de él.

Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, “I will be king.” Then he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.
