E ntonces todo el pueblo se llegó a David para persuadirlo a que comiera pan mientras aún era de día; pero David juró, diciendo: Así me haga Dios y aun más, si pruebo pan o cosa alguna antes de ponerse el sol.

And all the people come to cause David to eat bread while yet day, and David sweareth, saying, `Thus doth God to me, and thus He doth add, for -- before the going in of the sun, I taste no bread or any other thing.'
