A hora pues, enviad inmediatamente y avisad a David, diciendo: No pases la noche en los vados del desierto sino pasa al otro lado sin falta, no sea que el rey y el pueblo que está con él sean destruidos.

Now therefore send quickly, and tell David, saying, ‘Don’t lodge tonight at the fords of the wilderness, but by all means pass over; lest the king be swallowed up, and all the people who are with him.’”
