A demás, sucedía que cada vez que los más robustos del rebaño se apareaban, Jacob ponía las varas a la vista del rebaño en los canales, para que se aparearan frente a las varas;

And it came to pass, whenever the stronger sheep conceived, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the sheep in the gutters that they might conceive among the rods.
