A nd therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

وَلِهَذا أقسَمتُ بِأنَّنِي لَنْ أقبَلَ أبَداً ذَبائِحَ وَتَقدِماتٍ تَكفِيراً عَنْ خَطايا عائِلَةِ عالِي.»
