T hen David went over to the other side, and stood on the top of an hill afar off; a great space being between them:

وَعَبَرَ داوُدُ إلَى الجانِبِ الآخَرِ مِنَ الوادِي. وَوَقَفَ عَلَى رَأْسِ الجَبَلِ مُقابِلَ مُعَسْكَرِ شاوُلَ. وَكانَ مُعَسْكَرا داوُدَ وَشاوُلَ بَعِيدَينِ أحَدُهُما عَنِ الآخَرِ.
