A nd Jonathan said unto David, O Lord God of Israel, when I have sounded my father about to morrow any time, or the third day, and, behold, if there be good toward David, and I then send not unto thee, and shew it thee;

Entonces dijo Jonatán a David: ¡Jehová Dios de Israel, sea testigo! Cuando le haya preguntado a mi padre mañana a esta hora, o el día tercero, si la cosa va bien para David, entonces enviaré a ti para hacértelo saber.
