A nd Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin: but he slipped away out of Saul's presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.

Und Saul trachtete, David mit dem Spieß an die Wand zu spießen. Er aber riß sich von Saul, und der Spieß fuhr in die Wand. David aber floh und entrann dieselbe Nacht.
