A nd Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.

Saul disse a Davide: «Tu non puoi andare contro questo Filisteo per batterti con lui, perché tu non sei che un ragazzo, mentre lui è un guerriero fin dalla sua giovinezza».
