A nd all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.

E tutto Israele sentì dire: «Saul ha battuto la guarnigione dei Filistei e Israele si è reso odioso ai Filistei». Così il popolo fu convocato a Ghilgal per seguire Saul.
