A nd Abimelech fought against the city all that day; and he took the city, and slew the people that was therein, and beat down the city, and sowed it with salt.

Abimelek prese d'assalto la città tutto quel giorno, la espugnò e uccise il popolo che vi si trovava; poi spianò la città e la cosparse di sale.
