T his is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

Questi è colui che è venuto con acqua e sangue, cioè, Gesú Cristo; non con acqua soltanto, ma con acqua e con sangue. E lo Spirito è colui che ne rende testimonianza, perché lo Spirito è la verità.
