Joshua 9:21 ~ Josué 9:21

A nd the princes said unto them, Let them live; but let them be hewers of wood and drawers of water unto all the congregation; as the princes had promised them.

Entonces los jefes dijeron: «Déjenlos vivir, y que sean leñadores y aguadores, para el servicio de toda la comunidad.» Y fue así como se les concedió la vida, tal y como lo habían prometido los jefes.
