K now for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you.

el Señor nuestro Dios no peleará ya contra esas naciones en favor de ustedes, sino que ellos serán para ustedes una trampa, un tropiezo y un azote en sus costados; ¡les serán como espinas en los ojos, hasta que desaparezcan de esta buena tierra que el Señor nuestro Dios les ha dado!
