F rom Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:

desde Sijor, al oriente de Egipto, hasta el límite de Ecrón al norte, que es considerada propiedad de los cananeos y de los cinco príncipes de los filisteos, es decir, de los gazeos, asdodeos, ascalonitas, guititas y ecronitas, y también de los aveos.
