Joshua 10:28 ~ Josué 10:28

A nd that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of Jericho.

Josué prit Makkéda le même jour, et la frappa du tranchant de l'épée; il dévoua par interdit le roi, la ville et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient; il n'en laissa échapper aucun, et il traita le roi de Makkéda comme il avait traité le roi de Jéricho.
