B ecause they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

Por cuanto no os salieron á recibir con pan y agua al camino, cuando salisteis de Egipto; y porque alquiló contra ti á Balaam hijo de Beor de Pethor de Mesopotamia de Siria, para que te maldijese.
