R ender therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Rendete dunque a ciascuno ciò che gli è dovuto: il tributo a chi dovete il tributo, l'imposta a chi dovete l'imposta, il timore a chi dovete il timore, l'onore a chi l'onore.
