F or he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

ظَنَّ أنَّ إخْوَتَهُ سَيَفهَمُونَ بِذَلِكَ أنَّ اللهَ سَيُحَرِّرُهُمْ عَلَى يَدِهِ، لَكِنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَفهَمُوا هَذا.
