A nd when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.

Ils délièrent les ancres pour les laisser aller dans la mer, et ils relâchèrent en même temps les attaches des gouvernails; puis ils mirent au vent la voile d'artimon, et se dirigèrent vers le rivage.
