C rying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.

strigând: „Bărbaţi israeliţi, veniţi în ajutor! Acesta este omul care-i învaţă pe toţi, pretutindeni, împotriva poporului nostru, împotriva Legii şi împotriva acestui loc! Ba încă a adus şi nişte greci în Templu şi a pângărit acest loc sfânt!“
