F orasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

Since then we are God’s offspring, we ought not to suppose that Deity (the Godhead) is like gold or silver or stone, a representation by human art and imagination, or anything constructed or invented.
