T here laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.

فَوَضَعا يَسُوعَ هُناكَ لِأنَّهُ كانَ يَومَ استِعدادِ اليَهُودِ لِلسَّبْتِ، وَلِأنَّ القَبْرَ كانَ قَرِيْباً.
