T hen the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

فَسَألَهُ الفِرِّيسِيُّونَ وَمُعَلِّمُوا الشَّرِيعَةِ: «لِماذا لا يَقتَدِي تَلامِيذُكَ بَتَقالِيدِ القُدَماءِ؟ لِماذا يَأكُلُونَ بِأيدٍ نَجِسَةٍ؟»
