A nd forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.

Und alsbald erlaubte es ihnen Jesus. Da fuhren die unsauberen Geister aus und fuhren in die Säue; und die Herde stürzte sich von dem Abhang ins Meer (ihrer waren aber bei zweitausend) und ersoffen im Meer.
