A nd thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

Et toi, Capernaüm, seras-tu élevée jusqu'au ciel? Non. Tu seras abaissée jusqu'au séjour des morts; car, si les miracles qui ont été faits au milieu de toi avaient été faits dans Sodome, elle subsisterait encore aujourd'hui.
