S peak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:

«Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro che si facciano, di generazione in generazione, delle frange agli angoli delle loro vesti e che mettano alle frange di ogni angolo un cordone violetto.
